PNSA has advised Orange Group, one of the world's leading telecommunications and digital service providers, on post-acquisition merger between Orange Romania (ORO) and Orange Romania Communications (OROC), in view of creating a fully converged telecommunications operator by integrating OROC into ORO.

Mușat & Asociații represented a multinational pharmaceutical company in a complex dispute with the National Health Insurance House (CNAS) regarding the clawback tax for medicines, in the context of the concurrent application of two special regulations with contradictory provisions, namely GEO No. 31/2020 and Law No. 53/2020. 

The portfolio, which refers to claims with a nominal value of 400 million euros, consists of approximately 2,000 consumer loans and secured by real estate mortgages. CMS has advised Public Power Corporation SA (PPC) on the strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement (CFA) for the development and construction of almost 90 solar projects of up to 2000MW in Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, and Croatia. The value of the deal is estimated at up to EUR 2 billion and is expected to be implemented over the next three years.

Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has obtained the first final ruling of the High Court of Cassation and Justice annulling tax liabilities arising from the creation of fixed establishment in the area of VAT.
